During Constant Witness for July Defenders of the Unborn spent 85.5 hours on the streets pleading for the lives of the unborn.
Saturday Stats for July
Fifty-three girls made an appointment to abort.
Thirty pieces of literature was handed to those going in.
Thirty-six young girls were wanting birth control.
Twenty were clients were at pp for a pregnancy test.
Six girls were scheduled for the “counseling”.
Three clients were wanting STD testing.
Two girls were taken to the alternative center for a pregnancy test.
TWO BABIES WERE SAVED!
It seems that Planned Parenthood has a problem with getting the gate open on time. On the first Saturday the guard didn’t show up until 7:00 a.m. to open the gates. The gates are usually open by 6:30 a.m. Workers were waiting to get inside to begin the killing day. So where was the abortionist? Saturday is the normal day for Mr. Crist. Maybe he has retired. Defenders of the Unborn will look into that.
The Constant Witness counselors were able to send two clients to a different clinic for STD testing on that first Saturday.
Our prayers were answered on the third Saturday when NO babies were killed. It seems that the computer system had a problem and therefore Planned Parenthood was not able to kill children. Several clients arrived for the procedure but were turned away. We were allowed to take one girl to the local alternative center. She originally wanted the DePo shot but was told that she needed a pregnancy test. She came out to Mary and asked if that test was still free. We went to the alternative center only to discover that she was pregnant. We are working with her in order for her to keep her baby.
By 11:00 a.m. the parking lot of this death camp had only one car on it. The norm is that it is full by then. The babies that were scheduled to die on that third Saturday were given a second chance.
On that Monday I went to the mill knowing that the clients would be coming in that were rescheduled on Saturday. As I expected the parking lot was full. But to my dismay the alternative van was not present and no one was standing in the gap to offer help to those going in. I spoke to several clients going in but was not successful. But we are not asked to the successful, we are asked to be faithful.
Weekday Stats for July
Sixty-nine girls were scheduled for an abortion.
Forty-two pieces of literature was given out.
Thirty-eight clients wanted birth control.
Twenty-three girls were seeking a pregnancy test.
Fourteen told us the were at PP for the counseling.
Two clients were going in for STD testing.
Five others had an appointment for other “well” women care.
Nine girls were taken to the alternative center for pregnancy test.
THREE BABIES WERE SAVED!
Two moms decided to abort.
Planned Parenthood was closed on the 4th of July. Imagine that!
When we spoke to one mom who was bringing her daughter for an abortion said we need to just stand there and pray. We shouldn’t talk to anyone. Well, I’m sure that Planned Parenthood would be happy with that. Maybe some think that is what is needed to end abortion but I don’t believe that is what is going to save the babies.
Prayer without action is Naught. They must go hand in hand.
We learned that the man who has been delivering the paychecks for Planned Parenthood has stopped. A new man is delivering them. When I spoke to the first man he proclaimed to be Christian. I told him that if that was true then he needs to change he ways. He is partaking in the killing of the children. The checks that he delivers have the blood of the dead children. He told me he would think about it. Well, I guess his conscious spoke! Praise God !
One girl was wanting a pregnancy test. She said that if she was pregnant she was considering an abortion. We talked for a short time. I then took her for her test at the alternative center. Later in the day I called her to see how she was doing. We talked for sometime. At the end of our conversation she agreed to think about it. I called later in the week only to find out that she had decided to carry her baby. We are working to give her the help needed.
Sally spoke to a pregnant mom who was 4 weeks pregnant about the help available for her. She has 8 other children and is now pregnant with twins. We have been in contact with her and we are making arrangements to help her.
With our saved babies we must remember that we cannot always save the baby, but we must continue to try.
While Sally was offering help to couples going in this one couple she offered support to was not receptive She went to the side street to continue to offer help. The girl went inside but the boyfriend came over to the fence to talk. His girlfriend had decided to abort. He was crying saying that he wanted the baby. Sally suggested that he go inside and talk with her again. He did but she made it clear that she was going to abort. Sally continued to talk with them by text. After several hours of talking she came out. She wouldn’t talk with Sally but it is our belief that she did not abort. Sally is continuing to make contact with the couple.
As Sally was pleading for the life of this child prayer supporters were asked to pray. I don’t believe that some who stand on the streets at this death camp understand the need to be in prayer and not in idle conversation. Babies are in danger of death and we MUSTact accordingly.
As the month draws to a close we look back on the success and the failures but understand that we are only the hands that do the work. God is in charge and we must keep that in mind and continue to ask Him for guidance. To rescue these babies is not a JOB but aCALLING. We are called by God to protect and defend all life.
PRAYER WITHOUT ACTION IS NAUGHT!
