For the past five years Defenders of the Unborn has participated in the Webster Groves Parade. It began when we discovered that Planned Parenthood was also in this parade. So, we decided to join in this parade to give the parade goers a something more to think about The first few years we were cheered along with negative from the crowds. But this year the majority of the crowd clapped, and thanked us for being there. It was the most positive crowd that we had. At the end of the parade are the judges. They judge you on the float, your attitude, etc. To our surprise we have received an award from the Webster Groves Community Days Parade. We received an Outstanding Award for Visiting Entry. Our float was for the most part the same as other years. We had 63 supporters who joined us this year. We handed out 2,000 carnations with a tag on them with a number for help. We also gave candy to the children. It was a wonderful day.
At this time I would like to thank everyone who participated this year and all the other years. You made the difference
