The last week of December was a busy time for Defenders of the Unborn. We made our deliveries to the women who are keeping their baby.
In addition to that necessary work we held an Empty Manger prayer vigil outside Planned Parenthood. We prayed for all the families that will have an empty manger in their homes this Christmas. We prayed that God will protect them and give them peace.
On Christmas Eve. the gates of Planned Parenthood were closed. No babies died on the day that Our Lord came into this world as an infant. Seven Constant Witness prayer supporters stood in prayer that morning.
Dec. 28th
We held a prayer vigil for the Feast of the Holy Innocent. On this day Herod ordered all the baby boys two years and younger to be killed. He feared Jesus. Today we have the same fear, those who promote the killing of God's children are as Herod was jealous. They want the glory and the financial gain that comes from killing innocent babies.
The glory is God's, and we are His hands in the defense of His little ones.
Dec. 31st
The gates of the death camp were open on New Year's Eve. but they did not kill children surgically. We sent a young man to Thrive for information. The clinic was open but only for birth control, counseling and check-ups.
We distributed literature to those going in with a positive response from many. We have two young girls that called wanting more information on the effects of birth control.
Our time spent outside the death camp during the Christmas season was fruitful. Even though it was a busy time for family we seem to always have time for God's children.
Please join Defenders of the Unborn/Constant Witness in the new year to stand together in prayer and support for those who have no one to support them. We pray that you will find the time to come to pray and support our efforts before these children are killed.
The glory is not ours but it is God's glory, we are His hands in our efforts.
It is not my save but it is God's save through us.
REMEMBER: GOD IS CALLING YOU, WILL YOU ANSWER HIS CALL?
In a few weeks we will be offering a sidewalk counseling session. More to come later.
Don't forget the March for Life bus caravan will be traveling to our nation's capitol. If you are unable to go please consider helping someone who can go but doesn't have the funds. Defenders has three students who would like to go but are in need of support.
